Charles Andrew Wheeldon, 59, departed this life on July 13, 2024 at Lee’s Summit Medical Center surrounded by family after a short battle with lung cancer.

Andy grew up in Kingsville, MO and spent the the majority of his life living around family in the areas of Holden, East Lynne, and Garden City before recently moving to Pleasant Hill, MO. Andy enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends. He will always be remembered for his ornery personality and huge heart that was filled with love for everyone.

Andy was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Shirley Wheeldon and sister Debra Kinney. He is survived by his daughters Natasha Johnson and Rebecca Oakes, Camdenton, MO and Traci Wheeldon, Warrensburg, MO. as well as 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by his sisters Amy (Everett) Johnson, Bentonville, AR and Tammy Wheeldon, Holden, MO along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on August 3, 2024 at Garden City Park Shelter House at noon- 3 pm.
