Christopher Brian Thomas

Christopher (Chris) Brian Thomas , age 49 departed this life on March 6, 2025, at his home in Harrisonville, MO.

Chris was born October 27, 1975 In Clinton, MO to parents Lacey and Bonnie Thomas. He came early to them weighing just over 2 lbs. He overcame a 4 month hospital stay at Children's Mercy and went home to a full and healthy childhood. His journey in this life came the same way as he fought for his life for the last few years and held on to every day that he had. Chris attended the Training Center Christian school in Garden City, MO and graduated in 1994. He asked Jesus into his life as a young boy and was baptized at the New Covenant Fellowship church which he attended for several years.

When health permitted, he ran a small business called Thomas Taxi. He had those he called his "regulars" and transported them wherever they needed to go. People loved his kindness as well as his big personality, always with a smile and a joke.

Chris suffered the loss of both parents, mother Bonnie in 2012 and his father Lacey in 2014.

He is survived by two sons Chase Thomas, of Ames Iowa and Corban Thomas of Jefferson Iowa, his grandmother, Opal Wiskur of Peculiar MO and many aunts and cousins and so so many friends.

Plans are being made for a Celebration of Life for Chris at a later date.

He will be missed.
