He is preceded in death by his father Walter Kagarice, his mother Juanita Baker, his sister Lola "Maggie" DeWitt, and his sister Christine "Chris" Banker. Gene was born on October 7, 1958, in Harrisonville, Missouri to Walter Kagarice and Juanita Fuston. He was a high school graduate. Gene worked at Stahl Speciality Company for over 25 years and retired from Silgan Closures. Gene was a very caring person. He was always the first one to help anyone in need without expecting anything in return. He loved The Judds, Dolly Parton, and Calum Scott. He was a simple man but had a passion for nice cars and cooking/baking. Anyone that knew him knew his true loves were his Marlboro's and Mt. Dew. He will truly be missed by many. A Celebration of Life service will be at the Garden City Community Building on December 18, 2021, starting at 1:00. All are welcome to attend. This is a potluck (Gene loved them), so bring a dish or dessert. They will have plenty of chairs but if you have a favorite comfortable one, feel free to bring it. Kagarice Reunion Part 2.
