Helen Marie Auten

Auten, Helen M. 1937 - 2024

Helen Marie Auten, 86, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her Nevada, Missouri home during the early morning of February 18, 2024.

She was born July 25, 1937 in Sheridan, MO, daughter of Howard Edward Auten and Anna Olive Auten (Sowards).

She graduated from Albany High School in Albany, Missouri in 1955.  In 1988, she retired from Southwestern Bell / AT&T where she worked as a telephone operator, coin collector, and in the warehouse. 

She was preceded in death by: her father, Howard Edward Auten; her mother, Anna Olive Auten; and her brother, Garland Auten.

Survivors include: daughter, Diana L. Johnson of Nevada, MO; grandson Erik Dierenfeldt of Parkville, MO; grand-daughter, Trinity Dierenfeldt of Parkville, MO, two nieces and a nephew.
