Norma Jean "Jeanie" Fair

Norma “Jeanie” Fair (Ricehouse) died unexpectedly and peacefully in Research Medical Center on 05/25/2022 in Kansas City, MO at the age of 74.

Norma is survived by her Sons: Joseph Castaneda (wife Tosha) of Belton, MO, James Castaneda, Michael Fair (wife Brandy) all of Harrisonville, MO, Damon Fair (wife Anita) of Raymore, MO; Daughter Alecia Castaneda of Fort Scott, KS; Niece Lisa Glass of New Braunfels, TX; Nephew Paul McCarty of Kansas City, MO; and Sister Martha Ricehouse of Kansas City, MO. She is preceded in death by her Father and Mother Irvin T and Martha Ellen Ricehouse of Raytown, MO; Son Rick A Fair of Pleasant Hill, MO; and Sister Jerry Ellen Webb of San Antonio, TX.

Norma was born on 06/14/1947 in Independence, MO to Irvin T and Martha Ellen Ricehouse. She graduated from Raytown South High School. She moved to Harrisonville from Raytown. She raised 7 children and until this day loves each of her children equally and was fully giving support to all. Norma began working for Honeywell as a Repair Administrator over 20 years ago. Her children remember her as kind, loving, giving and most of all a “Mom” to each and every one of them.

Norma loved yellow roses, purple, the lake, outdoors, fishing, garage sales, concerts, music and her dogs Penny and Zoey. She was a patient individual who loved reading and who was passionate about making people happy, laughing, smiling, and enjoying themselves.

A Memorial service is scheduled for 1:00pm on 06/11/2022 at Staley Mound Cemetery, (19300-23499) S. Staley Mound Rd. off E. 219th Street. Pastor Fred Todd Sr. will officiate the ceremony.
