Richard Lee McCuiston

Richard was born on August 28th 1941 to Margaret Louise and George Washington McCuistion in Kansas City MO.

After graduating from Center High School in 1960 he then went to work for AT&T. He started as a coin collector and was soon promoted to assistant cable splicer. In 1961 he married his high school sweetheart Thelma Joyce Holliday. They welcomed their 1st born Jeffrey Lynn McCuiston on February 24th 1962. Richard then took a job at Household Finance as a loan officer and again promoted quickly to manager. Richard proudly put 10 years in the loan business and enjoyed it. On October 13th 1967 they had a beautiful baby girl, Holli Day McCuiston. Richard went to work for Royal Fixtures where he retired as a master wood craftsman in 2005. He had a passion for woodworking. Richard continued spending hours in his home workshop doing various projects as a retired man.

He left behind his wife Thelma of 59 years, son Jeff, daughter Holli and granddaughter Jessica. He had 4 amazing grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren along with any other friends and family he loved dearly.
